The No-Cry Discipline Solution Review

The No-Cry Discipline Solution Review

The old saying goes … children don’t come with instruction manuals. Well, a copy of this book should be delivered to every parent, new or veteran.

I was recently contacted by Elizabeth Pantley, a parenting educator and author of several popular parenting books. I was asked if I would consider reading one of her books, The no-cry discipline solution, and writing a review for our website. Considering this is a parenting website, I thought it was a great idea. I love finding new information that can help parents in their journey and then passing it on to others.

To start, I love this book! the no-cry discipline solution is a genuine, honest, and down-to-earth guide to the most common and problematic issues that parents face.

The ideas expressed in this book are realistic and simple. But don’t let the simplicity of the techniques fool you. You may read this book and start to think that these concepts are just too easy and can’t really work. Simple, however, doesn’t equal easy. Parenting is a time-consuming job and so are the techniques expressed in this book. As Mrs. Pantley describes in her book, not all techniques work all the time, nor do children learn them the first time around. These methods do work with consistency and commitment which is sometimes hard to find in our busy worlds.

I have used many of these techniques in this book and they do work. I wish I had the benefit of reading this book before starting my own parenting journey. I learned these tactics the old-fashioned way, trial and error. Reading this book before hand, would have saved many tears and frustrations.

This book is not only great for first time parents, but veterans as well. I will be reading this book many more times in the future as a reminder that parenting doesn’t have to be frustrating.

I am eager to read more of Elizabeth Pantley’s books and will be posting reviews in the future.

If you have read this book or other parenting books that you feel deserve attention, please leave your thoughts in the comment section.
